If you are a California resident who purchased personal automobile insurance from Allstate covering any portion of the time period from March 1, 2020, to June 11, 2021, you are a member of the Class.

A lawsuit is pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California against Allstate Northbrook Indemnity Company (“Allstate” or “Defendant”). Plaintiff Minerva Chavez (“Plaintiff”) brought this lawsuit against Allstate seeking to recover overpayments of insurance premiums resulting from the reduction in driving during the COVID-19 pandemic. The case is captioned Minerva Chavez, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated v. Allstate Northbrook Indemnity Company, Civil Action No. 3:22-cv-00166 AJB-MMP (S.D. Cal.) (the “Lawsuit”).


Your Legal Rights and Options in This Lawsuit
SUMMARY OF YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND OPTIONS IN THIS CLASS ACTION:
Ask to be Excluded You will not receive a payment from this lawsuit, but you will retain any rights you currently have with respect to Allstate and the issues in this case. This is the only option that allows you to bring your own lawsuit against Allstate.

Requests for exclusion must be postmarked no later than October 28, 2024.
Do Nothing You will remain a member of the Class and will be bound by the judgment whether favorable or unfavorable to the Plaintiff and the Class.
